Intergenerational Journeys

During January and February, I had the privilege of working with second graders at the Rashi School and seniors from the New Bridge community. Together, we explored how lines, shapes, and symbols can help us tell stories—both personal and shared. Through drawing family trees and discovering common threads between generations, we created visual narratives on an unexpected canvas: used tea bags! These delicate yet resilient materials became the foundation for our storytelling, connecting past and present in a tangible and artistic way.
