Exhibition: Psalm 27 : A Dialogue with Text and Art

The series "The Heart and the Archive: A Sephardic Dialogue," engages directly with the psalm's emotional landscape, navigating the delicate thresholds between fear and trust, concealment and profound longing. In this work, I explore how faith, displacement, and cultural identity are quietly carried and preserved across generations. By weaving together physical gesture, Ladino, Rashi script, photography, and delicate embroidery, the pieces become a visual fabric of memory. The tactile marks and stitches attempt to capture traces of a shared heritage, treating the archive not as a static repository, but as a living, breathing emotional history.
